Mars Hill Country Club opened for play in 1991. The course was designed by Alton McQuade

The course is located at the base of Mars Hill Mountain, one of the most picturesque areas of Northern Maine. The layout consists of 18 holes of rolling greens through stands of hardwood trees and small ponds. Hole #6, a par-3 with the tee box set on the side of Mars Hill Mountain has you hitting to the green located 160 vertical feet below!
